Public bug reported: I wanted to print 4 copies of a 3-pages document (12 pages total) and instead 16 copies (48 pages) were printed.
Using latest Ubuntu with all updates, Gnome Shell on Xorg, I opened a PDF file in Evince 3.28.2-1, clicked "Print", clicked "+" button several times to increase the number of copies to 4, and sent it printing on Xerox_AltaLink_C8030. That network printer was previously auto-detected with default drivers. access_log only has one line at that time: localhost - - [06/Aug/2018:16:28:14 +0200] "POST /printers/Xerox_AltaLink_C8030 HTTP/1.1" 200 64269 Print-Job successful-ok error_log doesn’t have anything related.
