Bug #1784485 is also reporting sound problems with the same audio card
as the systems in this bug, but I'm not sure if it can be duplicated to
this bug.

  No sound card detected by PulseAudio and ALSA, but is visible in lspci
  [Dell XPS 13 9360]

Bug description:
  This is 18.04 LTS but also occurred in 16.04 LTS. I have gone through
  the troubleshooting steps here:
