Thank you for reporting this bug to Ubuntu. Ubuntu 15.04 (vivid) reached end-of-life on February 4, 2016.
See this document for currently supported Ubuntu releases: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases We appreciate that this bug may be old and you might not be interested in discussing it any more. But if you are then please upgrade to the latest Ubuntu version and re-test. If you then find the bug is still present in the newer Ubuntu version, please add a comment here telling us which new version it is in and change the bug status to Confirmed. ** Changed in: xorg (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Won't Fix -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1493170 Title: Fullscreen window goes to the background Status in xorg package in Ubuntu: Won't Fix Bug description: Look at this: https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=529097 I'm almost sure that it's a bug in Ubuntu, not in Chrome, and that I observe it in Chrome just because it's the only application I ever use that goes fullscreen. Note that it's not systematically reproducible, it's just random. When it starts happening there's no workaround other than logging out and in to Xorg. I guess it's related with other window-foreground-background-order- is-a-complete-mess bugs.
