There was a kernel upgrade (to 4.4.0-137.163), maybe that's related? My /etc/fstab contains the following line /etc/sasldb2 /var/spool/postfix/etc/sasldb2 none bind 0 0 because I need postfix's smtpd to access /etc/sasldb2 inside the postfix chroot. FWIW the root partition (that contains /etc/sasldb2) on this server resides on a pair of SSDs (inside a raid1 LVM volume), but only since Sep 27 when I moved it there. I'm not sure it's relevant since, as I mentioned before, the weekly email on Sep 30 did not have any fstrim complaints, just the usual "new 18.04 LTS update available, consider upgrading".
