Public bug reported: In the wizard & system settings, we have code that uses QMenuModel to toggle the location settings (specifically location-detection-enabled and gps-detection-enabled). Sometimes they don't take!
I'm 90% sure that the wizard/settings are calling everything fine (calling activate() on the relevant action). I was just testing this. But could occasionally see that a field wouldn't update. So I'm *guessing* that indicator-location may be at fault here. Please re-assign for investigation elsewhere if you think appropriate (including me if I'm being dumb). ** Affects: indicator-location (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to indicator-location in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1384405 Title: Doesn't always "take" DBus requests to toggle gps/location being enabled Status in “indicator-location” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: In the wizard & system settings, we have code that uses QMenuModel to toggle the location settings (specifically location-detection-enabled and gps-detection-enabled).
