Public bug reported: After connecting a thinkpad x240 to lenovo's ultra dock, an audio cable plugged into the dock's jack does not yield any sound output. This bug is very similar to #1265344 and was also reported at [1] and more context is available at [2]. Maybe it is sufficient to extend [3] to the x240 model?
