Mimics failure to connect to internet

Bug description:
Random start-up on opening of Firefox browser, shows up as failure to
connect. Run diagnose program and debug reporting. Upon reboot
sometimes clears up sometimes not....Random disconnect and failure to
connect to internet. Need a debug program. Any recommendations??
