Title:
[Aspire 7720G, Realtek ALC268, Speaker, Internal] Playback problem

Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Hi,

  I come from Windows :( Vista :( :( but now I'm on Ubuntu :D
I have this issue, sound only comes out from the left speaker. Almost all the
time.
I have played a lot with speaker-test, alsamixer, gnome alsa mixer, etc, and
all seems well, except no sound from right speaker.

I did a change in my alsa conf file, adding this line:
  options snd-hda-intel model=acer

as per instructions found everywhere, namely here
  https://help.ubuntu.com/community/HdaIntelSoundHowto
   http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/acer_aspire_7720g

Sometimes, the sound works - but literally with me doing nothing, i.e.
just watching a movie clip, the sound will go off in the right
speaker. Most of the time, no sound comes out of that speaker.

  Almost everything else works beautifully.
