Title:
apport-kde Details field is always blank

Status in apport package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
I'm running Kubuntu 12.04 alpha2 amd64 with all the daily System
  Updates. apport-kde version 1.94-0ubuntu1

VLC and OpenOffice packages often crash on me (known bugs) and the
yellow-orange crash icon appears in the panel. When I click on it
apport-kde displays a small window saying something crashed. If I
click [Details] a textarea appears in this, but I've never seen
  anything in it since upgrading!

  apport-kde seems busy running GDB:
    % ps alx | grep 1217
    0 1000 12717 1669 20 0 552108 62532 poll_s Sl ? 0:03
/usr/bin/python /usr/share/apport/apport-kde
    0 1000 12767 12717 20 0 518252 457288 - R ? 0:20 gdb
--batch --ex file /usr/lib/libreoffice/program/soffice.bin --ex core-file
/tmp/tmp6U7936 --ex set backtrace limit 2000 --ex p -99 --ex bt full --ex p -99
--ex thread apply all bt full --ex p -99 --ex info registers --ex p -99 --ex
x/16i $pc --ex p -99 --ex print __abort_msg->ms

, but I've left its window up for a while and nothing's ever appeared
  in Details.

  Expected results
  1. At least show "Gathering info" at first.
  2. I think apport-kde should always tell me, e.g.
"libreoffice/program/soffice.bin crashed", even without clicking Details.
