Title:
Headphones jack, microphone jack don't work correctly on Acer Aspire
  4820TG

Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
When I plug headphones, the internal speakers are muted as expected,
but no sound is produced through the headphones although the volume is
  set at maximum.

Additionally, I can't get no sound from the microphone jack, although
the mixer settings are OK and the microphone is not muted.

I tried installing linux-backports-modules-alsa-lucid-generic, but the
  issues are still present.
