Title:
No audio output through the speakers on my Netbook; sound does output
  to externals

Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
Tagline says it all. I know nothing about sound drivers. When I plug
in external speakers or headphones they work fine, but the Netbook's
built-in speakers aren't getting anything. They work fine through
  WinXP.
