** Changed in: libx11 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low ** Changed in: libx11 (Ubuntu) Status: Triaged => Fix Committed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to libx11 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1772537 Title: Wrong combining sequence in Compose for the Finnish locale Status in xlibs: Fix Released Status in libx11 package in Ubuntu: Fix Committed Bug description: The Compose file for the fi_FI.UTF-8 locale at /usr/share/X11/locale/fi_FI.UTF-8/Compose contains the following lines: <dead_acute> <dead_circumflex> <E> : "Ệ" U1EC6 # LATIN CAPITAL LETTER E WITH CIRCUMFLEX AND ACUTE <dead_belowdot> <dead_circumflex> <E> : "Ệ" U1EC6 # LATIN CAPITAL LETTER E WITH CIRCUMFLEX AND DOT BELOW Thus the codepoint "Ệ" U1EC6 is produced with two different sequences. Based on the key sequences and the comments at the ends of the lines, it is clear that the first line is a mistake. Instead of "Ệ" U1EC6, the line should read "Ế" U1EBE, a character which cannot be produced with the current Compose file otherwise at all.
