Title:
No sound on headphones or internal speakers: PB EasyNote, Realtek
  ALC260

Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
On ubuntu 12.10, when booting with the new kernel, the microphone
works, there is no sound from the headphones socket or speakers.
However, when booting 12.10 with the old kernel from 12.04 the
microphone does not record but the headphone socket and speakers work
fine. My bug report is restricted to the issues with the new kernel.

I am attaching the alsa-info output when booting with the new and old
  kernel.
