sound skips about every ten seconds on every program
Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
Regardless of where on Ubuntu I am playing media, the sound will skip
unpredictably; videos play on but the sound skips, music has the same
issue, I dual boot windows and the sound works perfectly, also, the
sound worked perfectly in a previous version of Ubuntu, so I doubt it
is my hardware.
