Title:
[Inspiron 1010, Realtek ALC269, Speaker, Internal] Sound is
  distorted/glitchy (works fine on Ubuntu)

Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
In a relatively new update I was able to get perfect sound - apart
from the small problem at start-up entering in the terminal sudo
modprobe snd-hda-intel (but I'm not dealing with this at hand - it's
the fact on Linux I am unable to get the same result and unsure as to
what the differences could be between the 2 OSs.
