hi there
im using Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS 32 bit with the following sound card:
VIA Technologies, Inc. VT8233/A/8235/8237 AC97 Audio Controller (rev 60)
after long usage of the cpu 2-3 hours the performance is degraded with
prolonge response time and
Everytime a track playback of an mp3 file (rhythm box, amarok,
guayadeque) the sounds crackling

I tried LINUX MENT DEBIAN EDITION for few wks it runs greatly without
