** Changed in: apport (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to apport in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1347009 Title: apport-retrace occassionally creates a retraced report without a stacktrace Status in Daisy: Triaged Status in apport package in Ubuntu: Invalid Bug description: On the Ubuntu Error Tracker retracers I've noticed that apport occasionally will retrace a crash and that the retraced crash report will contain no Stacktrace in it. Here a couple of examples of the retraced reports, unfortunately without the CoreDump. https://pastebin.canonical.com/113960/ https://pastebin.canonical.com/113959/ I've seen this with both crashes on i386 and armhf, so it doesn't seem to be armhf specific although it may be related to using gdb- multiarch. I've created statsd counters for this (retrace.missing.stacktrace) and so far (after 96 hours) it has only occurred 12 times. Subsequently, it seems like a rather low priority but it is still curious.
