It is so recurrent that it makes browsing and simple tasks almost impossible. My best guess is that this problem is a bug in the new NetworkManager, probably a blocking thread while network-manager performs a routine wifi-scan. I'm using the r88x2bu network driver from the rtl88x2bu-dkms package for WiFi. Here is some information about the network. $ nmcli c NAME UUID TYPE DEVICE MIT SECURE 8b2ea417-ed65-4e36-a63e-a231344af87a wifi wlx74ee2af4348b virbr0 96dd3046-b80c-4995-8b83-289b0fc363d9 bridge virbr0 MIT b2c5956d-b071-4d52-98c3-86852563d88e wifi -- Wired connection 1 bfacd008-8aae-3219-b84f-6d5dc9f0d9fa ethernet -- $ nmcli d DEVICE TYPE STATE CONNECTION wlx74ee2af4348b wifi connected MIT SECURE virbr0 bridge connected virbr0 enp3s0 ethernet unavailable -- lo loopback unmanaged -- virbr0-nic tun unmanaged -- I have attached the system logs, which have the NetworkManager and wpa_supplicant logging level set to DEBUG.
