Second, the upgrade gives you a chance to see the details you want. And yes, at some point I guess I clicked Yes to something like "2387 packages will be installed, 8793 will be removed" or whatever. But if you are going to uninstall an application that I installed manually (as opposed to some library that I never chose to install), you have to give a very specific warning and prompt, one that I can't easily miss. This is OUTRAGEOUS. Now I wonder how many other programs, that I don't use that often (unlike THG with which I work on a daily basis) may be gone.
