Another thing I noticed recently: I've disabled standby when closing the Lid. If I trigger standby manually and then close the lid, the networking resumes as expected after waking the computer up.

What actually happens: Wifi always disconnects after closing the lid and doesn't come back upon opening it. I just see a "two arrows"-symbol on the top bar. When I try to reconnect manually, the wifi symbol is blinking, but the network manager eventually gives up. I have to disable wifi (or network as a whole) for a second and enable it again, to then automatically reconnect to my home wifi network.
