selecting 'Ubuntu on Wayland' from the icon in the bottom right. Does
the same problem occur in that mode?

Dell Ultrasharp u2515H HDMI <-> HDMI Intel NUC
Xiaomi Mi Display 34" DP<->USB-C Intel NUC
When setting a second screen in portrait mode it creates artifacts,
checkerboard pattern on moving content on primary screen. If I set it
back to landscape there is no issue.
Multiple fresh installs, can recreate.
Used same setup on Windows and OSX, no issues.
