@Miriam - thanks for the check of this case (FYI we are trying to recheck many old forgotten bugs). Seems this one is a great candidate for a fix now since we have a testcase, a fix and interested community.
Given this is open for quite some time there is no need to rush it, but as time permits it would be great to come up with something to get this case forward.
