Can you please install endeavour from the Ubuntu archive
sudo apt install endeavour
and let us know if the issue is present also when using that version of
it.

- Synchronize a few Google tasks list
- Attempt to type in the new task bar
- Observe that `ibus-daemon` uses 170% CPU for half a minute before typing is
possible
