Public bug reported: So I've tested other speakers too and this isn't a problem with the speaker itself. It also works perfectly fine on Windows 10 and 11.
External speaker creates buzzing sound when sound settings not open, the sound is random at times, can happen at start up or when opening new applications or even when doing nothing. I apologise if I've not filed this issue correctly it's my first time. I've selected the alsa-driver package (the ubuntu-bug apport gave it as an option) but I don't know if it's in it or where it is as I said I'm very new to this sorry.
