*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1971650 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1971650
I don't think there's enough information in the ticket at the moment to be able to pinpoint the issue. Since the issue is linked to the postinst which we've been shrinking but still need to shrink more (and maybe make more verbose), I'm going to mark this as a duplicate of LP#1971650 which I've been using for all the unidentified postinst issues (because I expect that solving this one will make the postinst more reliable). ** This bug has been marked a duplicate of bug 1971650 wrong check for "server" in libssl3.postinst -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to openssl in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1535141 Title: package libssl1.0.0:amd64 1.0.2d-0ubuntu1.2 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 Status in openssl package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: This has appeared following upgrade to15.10 ProblemType: Package DistroRelease: Ubuntu 15.10 Package: libssl1.0.0:amd64 1.0.2d-0ubuntu1.2 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 4.2.0-23.28-generic 4.2.6 Uname: Linux 4.2.0-23-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.19.1-0ubuntu5 Architecture: amd64 Date: Sun Jan 17 10:45:24 2016 DpkgHistoryLog: DpkgTerminalLog: ErrorMessage: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 InstallationDate: Installed on 2015-09-05 (134 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 15.04 "Vivid Vervet" - Release amd64 (20150422) RelatedPackageVersions: dpkg 1.18.2ubuntu5.1 apt 1.0.10.2ubuntu1 SourcePackage: openssl Title: package libssl1.0.0:amd64 1.0.2d-0ubuntu1.2 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openssl/+bug/1535141/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages Post to : touch-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
