Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. The relevant dpkg terminal log says:

mv: impossible d'évaluer '/boot/initrd.img-4.4.0-38-generic.new': Aucun
fichier ou dossier de ce type

deepl trantlates it to:

mv: unable to evaluate '/boot/initrd.img-4.4.0-38-generic.new': No such
files or folders

I don't know what causes it, but running "sudo update-initramfs -u" will
solve it. I am making this bug as invalid since it is an old bug. Please
re-open or open a new bug in case you experience with a recent Ubuntu
version.
