With everything happening with the Noble release, I didn't handle that
back in March and then I forgot about it. Sorry about that.

Is this still relevant?

And is there a reproducer that I can run? I'm asking for a reproducer
because having to rely on a reporter or an environement I don't have
access to is particularly painful for openssl due to how sensible it is.

Title:
Automatic EST certificate retrieval does not work on Ubuntu 22.04

Status in openssl package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
The 22.04LTS version of OpenSSL (3.0.2) contains an issue in which
automatic EST certificate retrieval does not work. This is affecting
some users of Azure IoT Edge on Ubuntu 22.04LTS.

  The bug is detailed here:

  https://github.com/Azure/iotedge/issues/7152

And was apparently resolved in OpenSSL 3.0.9+. This has been manually
confirmed to resolve the issue using 3.0.13.

The fixes for this bug are included in this bugfix on the OpenSSL
  repo:

  https://github.com/openssl/openssl/issues/20161

Please could we look at backporting these fixes to the 22.04LTS
archives or updating the version we distribute? Thank you.
