By mistake I reported this bug as a gnome-shell bug. Now I've corrected the description.

I've installed it and loaded all the required modules, but on Ubuntu 14.10 launching "qpaeq" from terminal does nothing; after launching it "top" shows that python's CPU usage is very high, with a percentage between 97 and 112. The only way to stop python from running is "sudo killall python". qpaeq used to work fine on Saucy and Trusty. I think that this would happen with any python program, but I'm not sure.
