Public bug reported: Our CI test VMs often start in degraded mode as jobs like systemd- modules-load.service commonly fail. This causes invoke-rc.d to start services with --job-mode=ignore-dependencies, which causes e. g. openvswitch-nonetwork to not start up.
We need to relax that to allow degraded mode, too. ** Affects: sysvinit (Ubuntu) Importance: High Assignee: Martin Pitt (pitti) Status: In Progress ** Changed in: sysvinit (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => High ** Changed in: sysvinit (Ubuntu) Status: New => In Progress ** Changed in: sysvinit (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Martin Pitt (pitti) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to sysvinit in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1429734 Title: invoke-rc.d ignores dependencies in degraded mode Status in sysvinit package in Ubuntu: In Progress Bug description: Our CI test VMs often start in degraded mode as jobs like systemd- modules-load.service commonly fail.
