Thank you for taking the time to report the bug. The dialog shown when
an alarm is ringing is done by the unity shell and if it becomes
unresponsive, then it has to do with the unity8 project which I have
added to this bug report.

  Unable to acknowledge alarm

Status in unity8 package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Happened this morning with Bq Aquarius (software version 20). The
  alarm went off, but it was impossible to acknowledge it as the view
  didn't respond to anything. I had to reboot the device.
