This seems to be fixed when LIM is enabled (the default now). Here is what I see:
- If I have a maximized window on one monitor and then click the desktop in the other monitor, the monitor with the maximized window does *not* show "Ubuntu Desktop" in the Panel of the monitor of the maximized window. The other monitor does show "Ubuntu Desktop". - If the window is not maximized, then "Ubuntu Desktop" is shown in both Panels. With LIM disabled, I still see this behavior. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to unity in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/985987 Title: Multi-monitor, Menu bar - Selecting the desktop in a monitor, causes all the panels to show the "Ubuntu Desktop" title Status in Ayatana Design: Fix Committed Status in Unity: Triaged Status in unity package in Ubuntu: Triaged Bug description: When in multimonitor, if the desktop is selected in one monitor, then all the panels shows the title "Ubuntu Desktop", but this is wrong: - The panel should show the "Ubuntu Desktop" title only when the desktop is visible on that monitor.
