How to reproduce: $ touch 'test test.pdf' $ see 'test test.pdf' Result: it will open atril twice with 'Error opening file: No such file or directory' message. Also, if filename will contain at least one bracket everything will work fine, eg: $ touch 'test test[.pdf' $ see 'test test[.pdf' That command will open only one instance of atril. Reproduced in 'mime-support 3.54ubuntu1.1'.
