Title:
[OSK] Doesn't have a mode "number by default with fallback to normal
  keyboard"

Status in Ubuntu Keyboard:
  New
Status in Ubuntu UX bugs:

Status in ubuntu-keyboard package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
That would be needed for design like

https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bluetooth?action=AttachFile&do=get&target=phone-bluetooth-pair.png

The pin code are usually digits only but the specification allows
alphanumeric chars and some device use letters, so ideally we would
have a number/pin type of keyboard with a way to switch to full layout
  for those cases
