lpt printer prints just random chars instead of testpage

Bug description:
Binary package hint: cups
hp deskjet 1120C printer which worked well since last few ubuntu updates.
just prints several pages "random" character instead of a testpage.
i think something went wrong with the last packege updates.
used driver is "HP Deskjet 1120 hpijs, 3.10.6"
its like the data is interpreted wrong!
