How to reproduce: * Start the phone * Unlock the greeter * Wait until the phone screen turns black * Wait a bit more * Press the phone side button * See that the greeter slides in I added some quick debugging and when the screen turns black we actually enter the if (status == Powerd.Off && (flags & Powerd.UseProximity) == 0) { switch in onDisplayPowerStateChange so it seems it is doing that part correctly.
