Root cause for this issue seems to be the "new" cursor. The blue tag which indicates the cursor's position isn't rotated. The same applies for the pop-up window where you can select "cut, paste, etc.". It is still visualized in portrait view. I managed to get a screenshot just before the crash (see attachement).
