Hello Jens, or anyone else affected, Accepted gtk+3.0 into trusty-proposed. The package will build now and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gtk+3.0/3.10.8-0ubuntu1.6 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.
