In the case of unity8-dash, this state persists until another app is started. Please see the attached screenshot. Exact steps to reproduce: - Close all running apps - Open system settings, or any app which supports landscape mode - hold the device in landscape mode, and wait for the shell to rotate - switch to the task manager - close the app - press the power button to lock the device - press the power button and unlock the device (still holding in in portrait mode) - stand in admiration of the dash in landscape mode :-) Also, while in this state, if you rotate your device you'll see that you can transition between (broken) landscape and portrait mode for the unity8-dash too :-) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity8/+bug/1476757/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages Post to : touch-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
