Yes, there is a web interface element to Squeezeboxserver.  You can
access it on any networked browser using
http://serveripaddresshere:9000.  

However, you either need to have the software running to make your
hardware player work including for local music, or connect your player
to mysqueezebox.com which will allow you play internet radio and some
music services like Pandora and Napster (depending on where you are
located).  There is a web interface for that too but it's much more
limited than via the software.
