It works as designed. There is no proximity sensor involved and it only switches when triggered by the type of input. This was a complaint that several beta testers had - that it will be 'stuck' in the screen corresponding to the input method that was last used. The opposite scenario, IMO, is just a bad. If you normally prefer the large text in the Now Playing screen and you happen to use the touch interface, then you need to find the IR remote and press a button to get it to switch to the larger text.
But... The information on your screen shouldn't 'disappear', depending on your scroll mode setting (Settings > Screen > Now Playing > Scroll Mode). The default mode of 'Standard scrolling' should scroll each of the lines when the text is wider than the screen. You can also use the text-only screen, which displays more text by using the full width of the screen. Press 'Now Playing' on the remote to cycle through the different Now Playing screens. -- JJZolx Jim ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JJZolx's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=77406 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list Touch@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
