Does the Yamaha have an analog pass-trough of some kind. Most receivers digitize analog inputs anyway, and all does if you involve some processing at all even the subwoofer output.
So it's often a moot point use digital in for that kind of machine. They are obviusly made for digital sources, their analog support is for "legacy sources", like vhs and tape deck's. And no Touch will not sample rate convert.
