The touch is bitperfect at 100% volume. Search these forums for "digital attenuation" as to opinions on the use of less than 100% volume, when using the analog outputs. It makes for interesting reading. If you are using the touch as a digital transport, use 100% volume, then what you get out is what was put in. Why would you want anything less :)
