7.6 has been really stable going by what other have said (I'm running ti but haven't been at home much to use it recently). However, the focus has been on 7.5.1 recently, so very few significant changes have been made to 7.6. This means it could well go through a period of instability in the future when the main scopes scheduled for 7.6 start getting worked on.
The Touch will revert back to the firmware for 7.5.x if you migrate backwards.
