Short answer: No, The touch is not a upnp/dnla client. No, Popcorn hour will not run the necesary squeezeboxserver software.
So you will have to look for another solution. I recommend setting up a server of some kind that can serve both pop and touch. It could be an old scap-laptop running the software from vortexbox.com. Or just a netbook. The squeezeboxes support wake on LAN, so if the pop does as well, you could suspend the server when not in use and have it wake automatically when needed. You could also plug an external harddrive into the touch and let it serve itself and the pop.
