I also get this on my Touch (7.5.1-r8837). It doesn't work if I select the specific track and press play (.flac with Chinese filenames), I'll get an empty playlist, and the large Play icon that shows up momentarily does not show.
However it does work if I press 'play' on the folder. I can't reproduce this issue on English files. So I am thinking it is related to the filename or something not being completely ASCII.
