I intend to digitalize my CD library in FLAC and listen to it on my audio system without the computer running.
So, I need 1.A Squeezebox Touch 2.the software Sqeezebox server 3.An internal hard disk and a hard disk multimedia being a back up of the previous and able to be autonomous to allow Touch to read the files and link them to the audio system For this last purpose, I have a lot of interrogations : a. Is Synology DS 109 a good solution and can I choose the same type of hard disk for internal and external ( I aim Seagate Barracuda 1,0 To )? b. Is there another solution less costly ? c. Is the hard disk multimedia software part of the pack or must it be added ? That's a lot of questions which I already asked to a Logitech Sqeezebox specialist who couldn't answer all of them and recommanded me to go to this forum.
