Depending on your version of winamp the "standard WINAMP version" may
not be up to FLAC standards. See this thread:

Your specific symptoms are different, but given that Winamp has been
known to use non-standard FLAC it's at least worth checking out. I
suggest re-ripping with another program and see if the problem
disappears.
