I did consider this for a while, but personally my storage requirements are just a tad larger, and I would have to have external USB harddrives connected. So I choose to buy a atom based mini-ITX board and put it into an old PC cabinet I already had. With the new Atom based boards you can get really low in power consumption as well; now that the old 945 chipset is out. The time of the plugs are over in my view, because with a mini-ITX you also get many the options of a PC.
