Ive had the same problem with my Touch. I went to play from my library on the computer and there was no sound even though the Touch showed it was playing music.I switched to mysqueezebox,played a internet radio channel and the sound was back.
I then went back to the squeezebox server and then sound came back on. This has happened twice so far.Ill bet I can duplicate this issue easily.
