Is there an advantage to using FLAC files rather than Apple Lossless files on the Touch with TinySB? So far, my Apple Lossless files seem to be working fine, although I only have about a week's experience with the Touch.
Looks like dbPowerAmp can convert the files quickly (I was really quite pleasantly surprised by the speed, to be honest), but I'd rather not have to keep dual copies of my files. I'd need the Apple files because my iPod doesn't play FLAC. If there's a compelling reason, though, I'd convert to FLAC too.
